Benson was placed on injured reserve today after suffering an injury late in the Cardinals’ Week 4 loss to the Seahawks. The injury quickly went from making him questionable for Week 5 to sidelining him for over a month. Emari Demercado and Michael Carter will be the Cardinals’ top two backs for now. Demercado will get the first crack at the starting job with Carter likely mixing in every few drives. Both running backs will be priority waiver wire adds this week with injuries mounting and by ...01 October 2025
McLaurin could make a surprise appearance later in the session, but things are trending toward a DNP for his first practice of Week 5. McLaurin missed Week 4 with the quad issue and was considered week to week as of the end of last week. Dan Quinn said on Monday that he was trending in the right direction, though he didn’t say if he expected McLaurin to return for Week 5. Deebo Samuel will operate as the team’s top wideout if McLaurin remains out, putting him in the WR2 ranks for a date with ...01 October 2025

Daniels is expected to log a full practice Wednesday after missing the past two weeks with a knee injury he picked up in Week 2. Barring any practice setbacks, Daniels should be under center for the Commanders in Week 5 against a tough Chargers defense. His return to the lineup will be welcome news for Deebo Samuel and Zach Ertz, who should remain in fantasy lineups in a potential back-and-forth affair.01 October 2025
Spears could return to game action as early as this week against the Cardinals if he’s able to practice in the coming days. His presence in the Titans backfield could be a hit to Tony Pollard’s weekly fantasy prospects. Pollard through four games has accounted for 68 of the Titans’ 73 running backs rushes while catching six of nine targets. It’s hard to get excited about anyone in a dumpster fire of a Tennessee offense, but Spears is a decent pick up in deeper leagues in case Pollard mis ...01 October 2025

Schefter added that the injury — sustained near the end of last Thursday’s loss to the Seahawks — “is not thought to be serious,” though it could limit him this week in practice and could cost him Week 5. Benson in Week 4 operated as the team’s lead back with James Conner (ankle) done for the season. He lost most pass-catching duties to Emari Demercado, however, who would slide in to Arizona’s RB1 role should Benson be sidelined this week. Demercado should be rostered in all league ...01 October 2025
Coker, according to head coach Dave Canales, is still considered week to week as he works his way back from a serious quad injury he sustained in late August, just after the team had committed to him as their full-time slot wideout. A fantasy folk hero of sorts due mostly to his last name, Coker last year had 32 catches for 478 yards and two touchdowns in Carolina. When Coker is able to return, he should instantly be the Panthers’ No. 2 receiver, though he should remain on 12-team league waive ...01 October 2025
This report along with a Tuesday report that Irving is “gathering medical opinions” on the ankle/foot injury he sustained in Week 4 against the Eagles suggest a potential long-term absence for Tampa’s No. 1 back. Unless Irving is able to shed the boot and practice Thursday or Friday, Rachaad White will likely step into the team’s RB1 role in Week 5 against the Seahawks. White would be a top-20 fantasy option in that role thanks largely to his pass-game involvement. Sean Tucker would serv ...01 October 2025
Zavala will miss at least four games on IR after picking up the knee injury in Week 4 against the Patriots. It’s yet another blow to a Carolina offensive line graded by Pro Football Focus as the NFL’s 12th worst pass-blocking unit. Bryce Young could be under even more duress in the coming weeks with Zavala sidelined.01 October 2025
Leonard hasn’t played a regular season snap since 2023 with the Eagles. He spent almost his entire NFL career with the Colts as a good run stopper and a solid coverage linebacker. His best season came during his 2018 rookie year when Leonard racked up 111 solo tackles and seven sacks. He finished his pro career with 16 sacks thanks to a series of devastating lower-body injuries.01 October 2025

After largely dodging questions about Joe Flacco as the Browns’ starter, head coach Kevin Stefanski was left with no choice but to bench the grizzled veteran after a miserable first four games of the regular season in which Flacco completed just 58 percent of his passes for two touchdowns and six interceptions. Flacco’s drop back success rate was lower than every quarterback but Cam Ward through Week 4. Enter Gabriel, who acquitted himself well in the preseason, completing 68 percent of his ...01 October 2025
Higbee was listed as a non-participant for the second straight day with a hip injury that first popped up last week. He played in Week 4, catching 2-of-5 targets for 25 yards after suffering the hip injury last Thursday. Higbee was active after missing last Friday’s practice, so this may be precautionary, but it is a short week for the Rams. Wednesday’s report will show if Higbee is ready to play Thursday against the 49ers.01 October 2025
Irving seemingly hurt his foot or ankle in the Buccaneers’ Week 4 loss to the Eagles. He still played the full game, including a 72-yard touchdown catch in the second half, but his status for Week 5 is still up in the air. Head coach Todd Bowles said Irving would undergo an MRI on Monday, but come Tuesday, Irving is still getting information on his injury. If he does miss time, Rachaad White is propelled up to fantasy RB2 status while Sean Tucker is a waiver add.30 September 2025
According to KPRC2’s Aaron Wilson, the Lions signed Flowers to their practice squad on Tuesday. The 30-year-old veteran began his career with the Seahawks and bounced around since then, totaling four interceptions and 22 passes defended in seven seasons. With injuries to Terrion Arnold and D.J. Reed, Flowers adds depth to the Lions’ secondary.30 September 2025
What team he’s with at that point, we do not know. Apparently there’s no nerve damage or cartilage issues for Hill, so even though the surgery is complex, there’s a chance he’ll be ready to go at the start of the 2026 season. We’d be surprised if the 32-year-old, coming off a major and complex knee injury, was more than a WR3 dart throw in 2026. But it can’t be completely ruled out at this point.
