Lions OT Taylor Decker said he underwent foot/ankle surgery after the 2023 regular season.

Decker said he’s been working out since the middle of February following the procedure, adding that he’s dealt with foot and ankle issues since his college days at Ohio State. Decker said he has started contract extension talks with the Lions. Pro Football Focus graded Decker as last year’s 15th best pass-blocking offensive lineman; he allowed nine QB hits all season. The Detroit offensive line was rated by PFF as the league’s 12th best pass blocking unit.
