Giants signed restricted free agent CB Nick McCloud to a one-year, $3 million contract.

The Giants lack depth in the secondary and it currently appears as if the three-year veteran will get a shot at a starting perimeter cornerback role this season. McCloud has appeared in 33 games for New York, 11 of which have been starts, amassing 71 tackles and nine pass defenses during that time.
